As you know Ireland got knocked out of Euro 2016 after a very hard fought match against France. We are all very proud of our Boys in Green and of our amazing fans who this week will receive the covetable ‘Médaille de la Ville de Paris’ for their exemplary behaviour at EURO 2016! Link to article in Irish Examiner (5th July 2016) http://goo.gl/OhfQ2t Well done guys you really did do our country proud!! #COYBIG
To show our support for Ireland we decided to do something a little different….
On Monday June 13th Ireland kicked off their EURO 2016 tournament facing Sweden in their 1st match. To cheer on our boys in green, we decided to make some of our chocolates in our native colours! Our Footballs and Football Boots were decked out in Green and White Chocolate; we had a “Good Luck Ireland” sign, green sheep, green lollipops and green and white LEGO!
Take a little look…
Next up is the World cup qualifier on 5th September against Serbia so we will be sure to do something special again!

As many of your know already, Skelligs Chocolate is located in a Gaeltacht area. This means that the primary spoken language is Irish. So each week we will share a popular Irish phrase. This one no doubt gets used alot after the weekend!!
So that’s it for this week….
